AREA INFORMATION

Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel is within walking distance of many of Istanbul's most famous sights. Blue Mosque (0.2 km) – The Mosque was built between 1609 and 1616, during the rule of Ahmed I. The stunning architecture has made the mosque one of Istanbul’s greatest tourist attractions. St. Sophia (0.35 km) – Now a museum, this impressive building is famous for its massive dome and is considered the epitome of Byzantine architecture and one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. Topkapi Palace (0.4 km) - After the fall of Constantinople, the palace became not just the primary residence of the Ottoman sultans and their households, but also the administrative centre of the Ottoman Empire from 1465 to 1853. In the hey-day of the Ottoman Empire, about 4,000 people resided in the palace. Grand Bazaar (0.85 km) - One of the largest covered markets in the world with more than 58 streets and 4,000 shops, the bazaar has between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily. It is well known for its jewellery, pottery, leather goods, spices, and carpet shops.

By Air: The hotel is approximately 13 km from Istanbul’s Atatürk International Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport and the journey from the airport to the hotel should take about 15 minutes.

FOOD&BEVERAGE

The hotel has a charming cafe bar, which also serves a typical Turkish breakfast with home made jams, cakes and pastries. The cafe bar has a small courtyard and a terrace with a panoramic view overlooking the Blue Mosque, the Marmara Sea and the ancient wall of the Hippodrome.
